Actually, its a "Republic Stormtrooper". Looks pretty good though. will this be a game-model,? or is it for 3d-animations?

Wow, very detailed. It would look nice wherever you use it, but in-game would probably be one good option.

I don't know, for some reason yours just seems a bit different than the one from the movies...Here's a really nice reference shot:

the eyes arent that curved. they're more boxy, still have rounded edges, but arent tear-drop shaped. thats what i think would fix it. good work though.

Good call guys...I'll fix the eyes.

I think the actual shape is a bit off too, it seems that his chin things, whatever they are, are more twoards the front of the helmet, and not under the helmet like you have it. Also, it seems like yours lacks a bit in the depth of the helmet. Like in the sides of the face it's pushed in quite significantly, yet on yours it doesn't seem to be pushed in as much. Just look really closely at the shot I posted and then look at yours. Yours is definetley amazing, but it just needs some fine-tuning :)

I think a larger part of that is the angle, and the shading. Murc is using glossy reflective material for his render, while the picture you attached is matte and has heavier shading, not to mention is textured to appear dingy and worn.

Though I think the front part of the mouth is bent too far down. (The curve should be straighter at the front)

better in shape, worse in length. the eye parts dont seem to extend that far out...

also, kinda looks like he has a fat bottom lip. check how the real one dents in on either side. still comes out, but not like that.

I still think the front bends down too much. Straighten the curve, and I think that'd really help.

The eyes are looking better, but the bottom edge seems to curve upward a LOT, making the eye too narrow. Nice, though. :)

I took a short break to make this. Still a lot of work to do, and I really haven't done any textures yet, just slapped a metal texture on it.

New render...not much new to the model:

Worked a bit more on the helmet. I did some subtle changes to the mesh, as well as started on textures. These textures are more just laying out the color than anything else. I hope to make the final version look dirty and worn.
