It's a neat design, but having the whole thing green is kind of boring. And what is the "blue thing" supposed to be? A nebula?

Obviously not built for stealth. The Iditarod VII Freighters generally are used as shipping mules for voyages between the galaxies. However, the Orion Starcruiser is an illegally modified (sound familliar so far?) Iditarod VII in that instead of the general quicksilver drives others use to traverse the empty gulfs of space, it utilizes an Increasing Circle Hypershield. In addition, the cargo claws have been replaced with massive combat claws developed for military Iditarod VIIs. The binding capsules that hold the claws to the main body of the craft have been replaced with AI controlled quick-drop binding cells. The only problem with the ship is that only one guy operates it, and he get's tottaly gangbanged by a bunch of pirate corvettes like, six seconds after this picture.

-yeah I thought this out a bit, so what?

Seems to me like you thought too much about the things back story rather than how you were going to Render it.

You need to light it so you can see the ship better. It looks like you've only lit it with 1 light. I suggest a few soft lights as well as the main one so you can get some ambient light on the model.

The background is a bit bland too. I think the star feild could be more intense as well.

It looks very unfinished

I just used the default starfield for Cinema 4d, and did only use one light, so, yes. It's unfinished. The nebula was... a bit lazy, I'll admit.
I'll post a gray flatshade of the cruiser to show the details.

-I never was that good with lighting. That's why I can't be a doctor.
