Almost all your corners are rounded except the inside of the main content table, and that looks odd. Other than that it looks good, I would definitely round off the inside corners to make it match the rest of the site, though.

Oh, also, specify a title in your frameset code otherwise it just prints the url in the title bar.

You probably already know this, but the compression on the buttons is terrible. It looks pretty good besides that, though.

My suggestions:

- The corners are not round enough. Round them up.

- Put some more interesting fonts.
Skateboarding is not a crime.

Groovy, I'll get right on the the rounded edges for the rest of the edges.

The button compression is terrible? Is it too low? Each of thos e should only be about, 1k max, is that too low? I'm completely confuzzled about optimization standards now that everyone and their dog can pump 149kbs.

A LOT of the fonts I wanted to use are downloadable, and I don't want some of the formatting ruined by the fact that someone might not have the font. Is there an embedded option to d/l the font that would help this?

I'll fix the title bar and rounded edges asap.

  • I'm not liking the curves, and I don't think the solution is to add more. I'd rethink how you treat the edges of boxes completely.
  • Don't use random crazy fonts. But don't use Arial either, it's a print font and is rubbish for screens
  • I can give it a lot more criticism, it just depends on how much work you're willing to put into it

Det, check the newest version to see if you like it just a bit more. If not, fire away with your ideas.

The real point of the website is to inform people about our show, the informational content is the key to the site. At the same time, though, I wanted to do a nice enough site where I'd still be proud of it in a few weeks, when I'll hate this design and make a completely new one cause I hate it.

But, again, any ideas or comments are welcome.
