Why is it in tris and not in JK-style polygons? Did you do it in another modelling program and then import it to JED?

I gave it to my friend so he could apply textures to it, he said he used milkshape or something, i guess it makes the quares triangles from the looks of it....

Yup, but i also noticed the lasers are too close, they should be outside the cockpit in terms of distance apart from eachother. Look at the reference pic.

Looks really good. Look at the nose of the cockpit, though, it must be broader. Maybe move the wings a bit down.

I'd say remove some of that shading. Let dynamic lights handle the shading. And smooth out the textures. The spike parts of the engines were better longer. It'd be nice to see some of the blue of the engines. The middle section where it connects in the T, should be wider, and the engines a bit larger. It'd also be nice to see some of the ovoid shape put into the engines.

I think the biggest problem, if you're trying to be true to the original model, is that the backpart of the wing isn't flat, they bevel (right word?) in.

If you notice, yours seem straight across, while the reference shot is angled inward. That's my only beef, other than that it looks great.

Hmmmm the wireframe looks way to similar to the n1 I submitted here ages ago.

Textures seem legit.. Can't say about the model because of the wireframe isn't a good shot but they do look similar.. I'm not pointing fingers though.

Both models have the exact same mistakes. Engine tails too long, no bevels, same exact polygon number for the engines (the tails are made of pentagons, for example), and the sections are in the same places.

hmm, I don't know about this one...

The textures may be similar if he based his off of yours. I know I don't have a good imagination and would have to use another person's textures to make my own.

As for the model, can you both post vertical, horizontal, and frontal views in wireframe?

(ps, if you copied it, give up now. If not, the pictures will speak for themselves)

I don't think pictures are even required. This is twice now that it's pretty blatently obvious you have copied someone else's work. Post the model to prove yourself once and for all. If you trully are original, the model will prove yourself true.

Notice the 'halo' around the engine in his texture? That's because Zs was original on a white background, and blended into it. He recolored the background black.

Take note of the arrangement of tris in the wide area in front of the cockpit. The arrangement of the tris in the R2 slot. The equal number of sides in the fins.

Heres the story then:

I originaly did take his model, those are the first 2 pictures. as for the textures they are mine.
