Kinda a follow up on an older topic of mine.

That picture showed a dragon breeder with the young hatchlings. Well these dragons weren't bred and trained just for fun, as could be expected:

I don't know why, but I don't really like the Dragon's head and the faces of the humans...
Everything else's neat though.

Same, except the armlessness of the dragon bugs me.

The dragon's feet seem really disproportionate to its legs. other than that, looks really good.

Those are some really, really muscular legs (on the dragon).

Other than that, I think it's cool.
Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Man, I hate posting in your showcase threads.

While it's really good and better than I can do, I have a problem with it. See how the dragon's feet and the feet of the guy getting killed are in line with each other? Why then does it seem like the guy with the spear and the dragon's body are slightly behind the guy getting killed? See how the guy on the dragon is leaning a little and pointing the spear kind of out. It seems a bit like an optical illusion.

That is all. Sorry.

Yeah, they remind me of the little animated bits in Monty Python.

But it's pretty cool.

Well I'm actually only naming them dragons here for simplicity's sake. These fellows play a part in my book and my book doesn't use any of the standard fantasy races (well except humans and anything you could find on earth). So they aren't exactly dragons, though they are heavily inspired by dragons.
I actually made a table with three main types of "dragons" and all kinds of crossbreeds and bastards. Ranging from 3 to 30 meters (head-tail), scaled or plain leather hide, 0/2/4 legs/arms, 1/2 tails, sentient/non-sentient, etc.
The legs are so big and muscular because this particular crossbreed relies more on walking; he can only fly short distances (hence the small wings).

SMOCK: That's ok, I don't find it a problem if someone points out some flaws. I hadn't noticed it yet, actually. The impaled guy wasn't there in the original concept sketch actually so that's probably why I screwed up there, I'll try to see if I can fix it a bit.

It's fantasy, after all, so there is no defined form of a dragon. I personally liked the bat-like dragons of that semi-recent dragonfilm a lot, though I usually prefer D&D style dragons.

also, the tail seems weird.. like it gets too small too fast... but since it is a "new" breed i take it it's suppose to be like that.. it just looks strange.
