Brian's JK Arena post on the discussion forum made me all nostalgic. So I made a canyon. Perhaps I make it into an arena.

I think it would be cool if you finished that SP level you were working on with the canyon theme.

Ooh. I like this canyon. Do you have other cool JK projects laying around? ;)

I'd love to see these in-game. 2D pictures just aren't enough for a 3D game. :D

Could you get a less distinctive texture? One that you won't notice when it repeats? The part straight infront of the player looks bad having the dark spots repeat in a gridlike pattern. Other than that I like it a lot. Could you post a wireframe so we can get an idea of the terrain? (The texture makes it feel flat when at a distance)

Pre-edit: The terrain at the bottom of the walls could use some work, it lines up with the ground in a straight line. It would look much better if there were bumps there too.

Lol, if I think about the JED commands too much, I can't do them.. but I can do it subconciously without focusing on it.

Good eye. I was planning to fill that in with 3do-type rocks and whatnot to break it up a bit.

It all looks alot less flat in-game when moving.

Looks cool, but I agree with the texture statements, liven that up with some better textures! :)
