Dudes! I have been working SO hard on the stargate mod right now, I hardly leave my bedroom atm, and not in a good way :(

Anyway...

The furling weapon I was working on a long time ago...

Now for the levels! I started making my own level and expanded the plot line, and in just 2 days I've made a nice little terrain level, quite small, but is one of only 3-4/5 levels.

This will be the best representation of stargate stuff in software that is available for a loooooong time.
If stargate was real, you would ascend immediately.

Your mod looks 10x better than the real game that they are producing. Porbally not graphically but your gamplay will certainly be better.

Nice interpretation of the furling weapon! :D

cos this comp screen has rubbish gamma.

I brightened the pics

the level itself is very dark, its during a thunderstorm

Aaron, is that glider bychance mine? I just checked. Definetly isn't. Mine sucks.

Everything looks swank. Fantastic job. I still think the furling gun's "teeth" need to be half-orbs.

I don't know anything about Stargate what so ever, but if you mean his is a better interpretation of the game than maybe it is. But as far as looks go, the screenshots of the official Stargate game look incredible...

Don't tell him that, he'll redo the entire mod (again)!

The level looks fantastic. This is why I've thought you should have done your own levels from the beginning. You have the vision to make it happen. Good show!

But I'm still fuming about that model...

HOLY CRAP!! :eek: were it not for the debug text a and the default fists I would not believe that this is JK. In fact this must be a joke... photoshop in some fists and text into another game. :D

the furling weapon looks really nice and the character model is great, actually looks like a SGC member.

how come he's wearing jaffa armour in one shot tho? part of the plot? (the amour looks nice BTW)

... Teal'c is uh... Black, Dude.

While I've seen Death Gliders painted like that, ... I've never seen any actually moving like that... It looks kind of out of place....


... Now for the hand-jobs.

Nice work meng, the weapon is outstanding. The level design looks fantastic from here, and I even like your textures... Good work, and good luck.

I used terrainjed for jk, very useful. I created a terrain bmp (that controls the height) for a very large area, and over that I created a HUGE texture with mergings of rock, grass and gravel. Then i seperrated them into about 32 different squares and used forceremap to put the textures on it.

Terrainjed wasnt infalible, had to spend several hours fixing the vertex heights, but it was worth it.

Also added thunder sounds, with the sky lighting up with lightning, and extra cogs to improve gameplay and performance (too many polies atm)

Melekin if you;'re refering to that player model being white, i would like to add that the soldiers in this mod are NOT the original team.

A special SG team, comprising of Major Aaron James (me), Major tiberius Grismath (Grismath), Cap. Ian Genkwiecz (Genki) and Lt. Tony Stockertt (Cazor) are the ones used in the level. Each character has different weapons, and you will play as each of them throughout the level(s)

I'd really love it if you'd release that tree 3do for Massassi.. I've been looking for a decent tree 3do since.. forever. The only others besides yours that look DECENT are the ones from JKTB 3do pack...
