The final release of the Life of Grismath for MotS will include remastered components of the currently released second level here on Massassi. Here's a peak at some of the remastering... ;)

Ruthven's high-poly Grismath model

The DrugMart is a 24-hour pharmacy on the outskirts of Raidal City, where Grismath goes after escaping the terrorist clutches of the Lawless Legal Solutions in order to get some much needed aspirin.

That's indeed a good improvement. But *please* fix up the textures in the shop.

Hobo? I didn't tihnk Hobo's normally wore suits. And even if Grismath was a hobo, he has right to be - he's being chased around.Raidal City by terrorists after all! :p

In fact, on closer inspection of the new Grismath model .... he seems to be quite well built. 0_o

Cool, though the misaligned textures above the door remind me why I ditched JK editing.

Overall, yay!

...Because you don't know how to stitch textures?
2005-06-07, 1:29 AM #18
Select adjoining surface. Press ";" button. then select the surface you want to align and press SHIFT+Insert. There, your texture is now stitched.

No, because misalignments like that happen. Sector based editing and all the small cleaved textures it creates suck.

The engine is quite crappy when texturing something like this takes more time than in brush editing.

Actually, I think it's more Jed's fault for the texture misaligning. It's got some bug in it and it won't preserve texture vertices a lot of the time.

Cool stuff. The drug mart looks ub3r sw337 :)
