sorry, but I want to say one last thing about religion...

Star Wars is the perfect thing to base another religion off of... it's just like christianity (in my opinion).... I believe the bible started out just like starwars... people liked it so much that people started believing it was real... (much like starwars today) most people were like.. huh.. whatever.. it's a book... flash forward a few thousand years from now.. there might be millions of people dieing to prove that starwars is real....

they'll do with starwars what they did with the bible... change it when it gets outdated.. or proven false... hell.. they change it all the time now anyway.. (starwars that is)

ok.. that's all... I just wanted to draw attention to how closely related these two subjects are

wtbh happened to my thread whilst I was gone?

ugh anyway.

ok I finished the p90 attachment to kill the warrior, so now I'm finishing the force power replacements and perefecting weapons and then the mod is FINISHED :eek:

mp is STILL not supported, my offer still stands, any editor of massassi may take my mod and transfer it to mp coding, as long as my name is on the mod along with the other editor.

If I have time, i MAY add an Unas to the mod, but right now there is only jaffa with staffs, jaffa with zats, serpent guards with staffs and zats, and kull warriors.

the exact same animations from the show have been implimented.

Gotta also make the player version of the anubis armour and arm-mounted rapid plasma caster, shoudnt take long.

What's the problem with mp? C/S coding? Or are there some weird potentially unsolvable problems?

#1 I cant be bothered to rewrite 1/2 the cogs in the entire mod thats why

#2 the cogs have to be changed cos there are a lot of special fx that only work in sp in the mod.

#3 be quiet :p

I fixed the demo you released a while back. I don't see why it didn't work on your computer.
I can try to fix up this one too, especially now that I actually have experience with client side stuff.

I think I can do it

I perfected the weapon codes for the weapon I posted a short while ago. I tested it with the multiple instance JK thing a while back and it works how I want for the most part. And anyway, those shots look more than worth the time and effort to make them MP.

I donno about the Kull disruptor sprite... in the show it was a bit more rainbowy in color and shimmered... your looks like a blue blob... but still most impressive considering the engine.

in the second pic above where you fire the kull disruptor, it also seems to be cliping or something... you can't see the kull soilders arm through the transparent part of the sprite.... this also occured with your teaser with the smoke from the staff weapon.

so from your last pic post, am I to assume the SP release of this Mod will be fairly soon?

whats going to be in it, you've given us a few weapons and screens of jaffa / kull warriors, what about diffrent map? how many? SGC? offworld? a ha'tak corridor or two?

After watching prometheus unbound again, I want to take back my earlier comment about going silver instead of black. The screenshot on the first page must be reflecting a LOT of light cause the suit is pretty much jet black in every other shot I've seen.

holy **** those new shots are awesome. The gun and model look so good together. Put those in one of your new levels and it will look like a completely different game.

Oh and another reason not to make it MP - there's no point. No one plays JK MP anymore. (although a few might if it was this mod)

@ posts one page back:

- There are Marine SG teams. SG-3 are Marines, for instance. Stargate Command has access to all kinds of munitions that regular armed forces aren't equipped with (the P90 have never been adopted by the US Armed Forces afaik, and neither has the SPAS-12 or USAS-12) -- just like any special forces team.

- Carter used the kinetic energy of a missile to kill a Kull warrior (Death Knell I think). However, I do not remember seeing a Kull warrior getting shot by a Barret.

- The rainbow effect was from the the upgraded, anti-Borg (computer) version of the P90 attachment in Avatar, was it not? I remember the "real" effect being blue.

damn, I brought my memory stick to the labs but forgot to upload the new images :(

oh well

I will make only ONE more showcase before the release.

I just finished all the extra items and replaced foce powers with physical attributes, Tauri skills and Guaould technology/power.

So now.... perfect the code in each weapon, make sure all anims are done and....

Done.

Needs compiling. May give it to G man again since my computer doesnt like compiling it, and its twice the size it was last time.

It's 6:30 am right now, couldnt sleep, too excited cos I just found out I should be going to finland on the 12th until the 20th, so no modding during taht time.
And I got work in 4 hours, without sleep :(

Mod is much more complex now I may release a downloadable manual for it just like original JK did.
