Terragen, photoshop. hmm? thoughts? Just a small test run but I thought I'd share. :)

(post a planet if you've made one :) )

No offense but planets are the most boring thing ever. All I see is terragen style planets. It's been done a million times over and it always looks the same.

I made a photoshop planet once, i liked it, i just cant find the image :(

Well it's a first for me, thought I'd share... you don't HAVE to like it.

To make one:

in terragen,
click on terrain properties, click on 513 or something, make the planet "curved terrain" box clicked, put 7km or something in the radius.

Center the camera and focus it on the middle or so, shove the camera at a good 14000m up and preview it. It should be about centered. Then just play with the settings.
