I just got my tablet from Newegg (Wacom Graphire 3) , and in order to get used to it I've been practicing with it in Illustrator. After an hour, I was able to make a crude sketch of Mr. Freeze: (colored in corel painter)
I know its quite crude, but i'm still getting used to the tablet.
The animation studio that did Batman The Animated Series got Freeze's look perfect in the "Heart of Ice" episode, right down to the frosty airbrushing on the glass dome helmet. In later episodes, the helmet is a solid cyan color, which ruins the effect IMO. I tried to get the airbrushing right for the helmet, but I'm still not satisfied with it. This is currently a WIP.
I'm going to draw another Mr. Freeze from scratch, and I'll post it later.
