This is something I put together (in Paint no less) because I was feeling somewhat artistic. Thoughts/comments/flaming bag of dog crap?

Sorry to be brutally truthful, but it looks like a failed attempt to be artistic. Maybe it'd look better if you drew it instead? At least connect the arm to the hand.

I do have this drawn on paper, but I don't have a scanner, so I figured I'd replicate it in Paint. As far as the hand/arm disconnection goes, I don't see what you're talking about.

Alright, I'll cut it down for you:


Notice the bottom part of the arm, the top part connects, the lower trails off for some reason.

I never saw blood form THAT much of a shadow, nor it really coming out like that, try more of a "spray" effect.


The blood here doesn't match the blood in the "shadow", this bood is much more spread out compared to the other one, and I doubt all that blood would be coming out of the front anyway. And look at the top of the gun, come on man, that's grey blood! If you're going to be somewhat simple about making this, at least make the colors match up.

It's a cool concept I guess, but you just really need to work on putting it together

That's actually supposed to be residue from the shot (which is why it's grey). But after you mentioned it, I noticed that I didn't include it in the shadow.

Don't post on a forum asking for questions or comments, and get upset when you actually get what you ask for.

My last post was in reference to the people who didn't comment on the image itself, but on the quality of it. That tells me nothing in the way of making it better. The comments/criticisms that I got about specifics that need work in the image are helpful and I appreciate them.

I'm not saying that I like the way the paint version turned out, but I used Paint to do it again since the way I drew it the first time on paper was simple enough. Also, I didn't feel like downloading another program that I would use once and then be done with. If I can find a scanner somewhere, I'll get the original up.

When you draw something on paper it always looks better. So yeah, scan some of your images so I can help out (I'm a pretty good artist myself for my age :D)
