I'm in the final stages of this puppy. Hopefully, massassi will have their file uploading back by the time it's done.

I died at the lava part when I played it.. i remember that!

Heh, talk about synchronicity (or just coincidence). After seeing the comment about the lava texture, I went looking for a new one, and that was the only decent one I found. Thanks G-Man.

Personally I'd use MaDa's:

looks nice, but I think that the lava shouldn't be translucent. You can't really see through lava unless you're superman.

/edit oh wait that's fog... hmm The fog needs a little work, it looks too flat on the walls. I'm not sure what it would take to fix that. but other than that it looks nice.

Didn't it have something to do with monsters killing your wife and kidnapping your son? And I seem to remember something about having a shovel as a weapon, but that might be totally off.

Use a multicelled lava texture for effects at places

I would do that, except I'm not THAT good of an image editor and there were few tiling lava textures to be found, let alone animated ones. But if anyone knows where I could find one, lemme know.

Seriously tho, you should change it to something more.... interesting. THEN, don't post any screenies of the end! That way, we'll all have to go thru the maze to see all of the ending's wonderous splendors!!

Oh, don't get me wrong. That's part of the end, but there's something you've got to do once you get there that wraps the story up. I'll not be posting pics of that though.

I think there could be more detail

Well, that could be said for most anything. I've tried to put as much detail into it as I possibly could, but it really makes it hard with the size of the level. I've been building this for nearly half a year now, and if I went back and tried to make everything super detailed it would probably delay things about another half-year to year. I'm not saying that I want to be half-arsing this, but I really want to complete this and making it have a lot longer time til completion would only greatly increase the chances of me ditching it.
