I love everything about it except the tree. It just seems out of place in an underground lava temple chamber whatever-this-place-is.

BTW, is this for JO or JA?

I agree, the tree is a bit out of place...maybe make it a special tree, with jagged red leaves and thorns or whatever...green leaves just dont fit (where would he get the sunlight from to do his chloromajig?).

I like the tree really, from an artistic perspective it makes for a nice contrast. Plus it makes it a very mystical tree.

Looks much better. I'm glad to see the added detail, but that tree has got to go. maybe make it smoldering or as some type of statue, but those green leaves would dry out and smolder in a matter of seconds in a place like that :eek:

I can't decide if I like the tree because of those artistic reasons and contrast, or if it has to go because it doesn't make sense. It's the all-powerful tree of doom! It makes people's heads explode with its paradox! O_O

reminds me of this one Q2 map i forget what its called, but there was lava and crap to blow up.

In one of those pics there's a wierd stitch in the lava textures.

That stitch thing is actually an illusion. The camera was positioned above a lava fall.

I love it. It is very satisfying to look at, I adore the environment you've created! Keep the tree, it adds a certain je ne sais quoi.

Perhaps curve the corners of the lava-falls up a bit, but otherwise, great! Very aesthetically pleasing.

This level looks amazing. Just one thing though. Can you make the 'waterfalls' (lava falls?) less sharp? maybe try to make it curve more as it pours off of the ledge? I think any kind of smoothing or rounding you might do to the drop-off points would be toight as a toiger.
