The mission itself is like 80% complete. Most that is left to do is completing the models. So no comments on default textures.

BUT. i can see through the bottom of the control tower at the top of the invisible hand. put some polygons on that stuff. :)

I thought it was a control tower too at first when I watched Ep3, but it's the observation desk, as we later find out. :)

Wow! Thank you guys!

@Cazor, don't worry. That was just a stupid error I didn't notice when photo-editing the stars into that picture. The model's all fine.

@scelestus, don't worry about the filesize. All in all it should be around (max) 20MB due to the models. Also, I'm going to release each model separately as well, so nobody'll be bound to using it only in combination with this mission.

Also, DTM, the author who made that Jedi Interceptor model is working on several other clonewars missions/shipset with EP2/3 models. Have a look at his website, MTD Industries

are the star destroyers BIG? The X-Wing Alliance ships were nice, but the Capital ships just didn't feel massive enough... you could fly by em in a half sec, instead of flitting along the surface like in the films.

20 megs is good. My crummy connection and I are pleased.

Saberopus, I always figured the inability to flit was more due to the lack of detail on the models. There really isn't any flitting that can be done, you can just skim the surface and get shot a lot. I don't try that anymore. Since it's been a while, I'll load XWA up again, apply all those high-def patches, see if it's any different.

I plan to have the Venator done by the weekend.

As for the mission, I still need to tweak the starships' waypoints a little...
