Good screens, but for a map that size and open, more would be nice. If you post them on this thread, I bet you'll get three times the ammount of attention. :)

I am so confused. I own Halo PC, so is that...different from Halo CE? I never did understand that.

Halo CE is a 60 MB downloadable mod for Halo PC that adds some custom content which is supposed to be like Halo 2, AKA battle rifle, dual wielding some weapons, and zanzibar.

Wrong.

Halo PC is just that. Halo for PC.

Halo CE = Halo PC Custom Edition. The Downloadable part is right. But you need Halo PC to install it. Basically, Halo CE installs a multiplayer ONLY Halo, which is able to utilize user created content in an easier fashion than Halo PC is.

What Zell is talking about is Halo 2 CE (I think that's what it's called). It's more or less a Halo 2 TC for Custom Edition. Most of the more popular Halo 2 maps are being remade in some fashion, most of the weapons and Halo 2 features have been added. Last time I played it though, I completely HATED IT. Dual SMGs were far too accurate and ripping through people from half way across the map. The Battle Rifle didn't pack enough punch. And about the only map that I really enjoyed was New Mombassa. I haven't played the "final" release, so I can't comment on that.

looks like a good place to snipe and have a big open war, but the textures look very bland though

It's interesting, Massassians always say that but noone in any other forums where I've showed this stuff do.
But either way, all the textures except the ground texture are Bungie's.
It also might make a difference that I keep my gamma really high.

Halo 1 didn't have the most impressive textures ever. It was released in 1999, after all. The only thing it had going for it was the pretty specular effects.

That looks nice, better than most custom levels, anyway. And boy, Halo PC is like, one of my favorite games but I don't have my cd anymore, have to get it back from my friend. Anyway, I tried editing for Halo, but it was all too confusing. Never figured it out. But yeah, it looks good!
