oh yeah, watch it in a smaller window otherwise it will be all pixelated and stuff..you get my drift..Oh yeah turn your speakers on too because there is music etc...don't bother pointing out flaws cus I know em all already.

As a fellow flash movie maker, I have to say: Why is it so short and simple? Add some color, add some tweens! But it works...I guess..
I had a blog. It sucked.

Add some color and tweens? The movie uses many. Are you sure you watched the whole thing? It's like 3 minutes long. I think maybe you watched the intro and thought it was over or something, because it uses 3d backgrounds, walk cycles, everything. Btw, I modeled the backgrounds in JED and took multiple screenshots to create animation.

the jaggedness of the character and the sharpness of his animations (head turning and stuff) stands out.

Oh, indeed I did. Sorry! That's really good. How long did that take you?

Only thing I found is when he jumps on the train at the end, there's some black on the left side, and you can see the hobo and he's just running in place. Other than that, nice. And once again sorry for that ;)

The 'plot', as it were, needs a little more development, or at least some elaboration... What, precisely, is going on? The figure with the hat is sneaking onto the subway for 'free', and gets chased by the pig? If this is the entire point of the film, the buildup to that point seems a little long and awkward. The intensity and speed of the chase isn't really emphasized by the running anims or the music, but it seems like that's the feel you were going for. The environments are quite nice, though. It just needs to be smoothed out and possible compacted a bit... The intro anim is sorta long, too.

There's more but, y'know, whatev.

Ya thanks for the comments but as I said, I knew all flaws, you didn't need to reiterate them.

I realized the buildup was too long and drawn out...The jaggedness and white was apparently unremovable. I would zoom in close and it would not be there, but when you zoom out white lines and jaggies appear. The thing at the end with the leg just needs a mask put over it. Also, the guy isn't a hobo.

Buildup is much too long, animation is okay but kind of ugly--why didn't you use vector art instead of bitmaps, etc...and I found the subject matter/plot to be rather small-minded and petty. But overall it was pretty good.

Haha yeah the story is pretty lame, I know. It wasn't planned out too well...as for why I didn't use vector art...well I did it in an animation class where we had to do everything a certain way. We started by hand drawing them, coloring in photoshop, and chopping them up and tweening. If I had my way I probably wouldn't have done it this way...

Ohh. Stupid classes >.<

I remember when I was in 8th grade we were supposed to make perfectly scaled dioramas of our rooms. I mapped my room out in Q3 and printed a bunch of pictures.

The teacher got mad. :(
