Feuer frei!



It's not done yet, but I thought I'd throw one pic out there for kicks. Much more to come once it's done.

[btw, this is not really for a project or anything unless somebody wants it for theirs. I just figured any respectable modeller has made a DE before, so I should have one too.]

I know the deagle has a fat grip, but this is probably still a bit too much (could be the shadow, though. Looks neat otherwise.

the render makes it hard to see correctly, especially the reflective surface. The gun looks nice though. Now just slap some (good) textures on it.

Model is done, and this time sans reflectiveness and smoothing. Yes I do see one or two bad triangles, and no, I don't plan to do anything about them.

Shouldn't the pistol grip be a bit longer? That's my only real complaint.

I did a little overlay and fixed what was wrong. The grip was the right size, but I had it a little too far forward. Remember, the photo has perspective, and JED doesn't.

It looks a little big, but honestly, I don't care.

A wise man once said "eh, close enough".

I like it. Not the best I've seen, but definetly above average.
