More RPG madness, this time in the form of a massive submarine city/ship. Like the Executor, except underwater.

In the town where I was born, lived a man who sailed the sea...

The underwater city of the Pepper, leader of the mercenary group known as "The Pepper's Navy". In addition to being a city, it's also a flagship, personal yacht, and final line of defense against any naval fleet.

And he told us of his life in the land of submarines...

Closeup of the control citadel. As you can see, the front of the ship is barbed, not only for visual flair, but also in case they need to slice up a giant squid or enemy submersible.

So we sailed into the sun, until we found the sea of green...

Closeup of the engines and main rudders. I can't think of how the engines run, so let's just leave it at "it's magic", eh?

And we live beneath the waves in our yellow submarine...

Detail of the front of the seacraft. Massive spines assure that anything that gets in the way will no longer be in the way.

WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE!

And this is what color it is. Yeah. That submarine. Comparison shot:

-Interestingly enough, it also makes an appearence in "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" graphic novel miniseries ( http://www.enjolrasworld.com/Jess%20Nevins/League%20of%20Extraordinary%20Gentlemen%202/Notes%20on%20League%20of%20Extraordinary%20Gentlemen%20V2%203.html scroll down to "The New Traveller's Alamanac: Chapter Three". Fourth entry.)

Well, the obvious answer would be... what, steam powered turbines? Massive propellors? Could be, could be...
I've been working at this mystery for a while (how to have a submarine in a fantasy setting), and I came up with some ideas. For instance, a massive set of sails that act as fins under water and sails above...
A special chamber in which alchemical reactions take place, creating massive amounts of thrust (basically a liquid rocket except with, like, eye of newt or whatever)...
Banks of rowers...
And propellors.
I dunno. Maybe something sorta between futuristic sci-fi and bizarre fantasy... like, a magical water-repelling field, like a magical respulser field.

-What do you think?

Just a geocities fit. Nothing to worry about.

-I've never upgraded from Geocities because, frankly, there's no reason to.

We're sorry, the page you are trying to view has run out of it's alloted bandwidth.

Not to mention you're probably violating the GeoCites Terms of Service by using the TXT trick and hotlinking.

BTW, nice submarine thing. :p

Well, ok. There's a good reason. But I never upload gifs or other bandwidth suckers anymore, my pictures aren't viewed all that often because, well, duh, and nobody EVER visits my website.

-I never saw anything in the ToS that said no to the .txt trick. Of course, I skimmed, but whatever.
