Wowzerz, IT'S KAIN. Man, the mask looks great. A problem, though: your mouth looks way too human. Kain looks like a fledgling. No idea how you could fix that, though. You might consider wearing bleached contact lenses...

I could also get some blue, red, and yellow food coloring... mix it into black (with a tinge of blue) and use it as mouth wash for a few seconds, and it will die the inside of my mouth... that'd look cool.

Well, his eye color seems to change on every reference pic I find. Anyway, yellow should look pretty awesome.

the pics are good, but the video is just incredible.

The materials really allow the normal human face to stretch the Kain mask into something eerily convincing.

Once again, I humbly bow down to Spiral..... but not in a gay way or nothing :em321:

BTW: Can you smile in this thing? I mean, you have to make sure it looks good, since you will smile all the time when you march around in full costume and see the panic reactions of the cattle...

Ahaha wow thats exactly what it reminded me of! That one book where the kid finds the really realistic mask, puts it on and he becomes that character. They made a tv episode and the mask is somewhat similar to this Kain one which is probably why...

yeah, it's just the mask.. there will be a cool body suit and stuff... that is, once I get it done...

BTW, the hair is not final... we bought a bnch of this "theatre hair" cause it was supposta be really good.. well it turned out to be stringy cotton.. and it looks horrible.. and it comes apart if you pull on it.. so we figured we would use it on these test pics, until we get the actual wig.

Thanks monoxide.... actually that book was turned into a movie years ago......on nickelodan. It scared me sooooooo bad. I was 7 years old and I couldnt sleep all night for fear of the mask coming into my room. Thanks for the memories ;)
Until this day I can not sleep unless the door is closed.
But nice work on the mask it is really coming together well!!! It looks sooooo much like it.

Is it suppose to be from Blood Omen!!! I loved that game it was one of my favorites.

hopefully, yes.. intime for this halloween.. I really don't have much else to do just the fore arms and the body suit.

As for that pic of kain, I have a picture where I am making that exact expression with the mask on, and it looks so cool.. the only problem is that it's on my phone, an dI don't kno whow to send it to my desktop.. :(

I pretty much have picture of the WHOLE process

also, we didn't spend hardly any time putting the ears on properly.. not hiding seams, or filling cracks... or even painting it well... part of this was because the ears were latex instead of foam latex (which will be fixed for halloween), another part is because it was getting late, and we didn't feel like spending the time to fix the ears properly... so u can see in some of the pics how horribly the ears are put on.. I know this also, and rest assured, it will be seamless for halloween ;)
