This is Simon... sorry its not a slug! Simon is an Oculily. He stands about 1000x higher then a human. They are not friendly or cuddly....so please don't touch. They have venomous thorns. If they spot you they will use photosynthesis reflux in order to shoot a laser out of its eye, using the sun's energy to form the laser. So don't pick them.

Or, even better, put in a pair of pants!

So it's a plant with a laser... for it's eye... hmm. Interesting. Let's talk scale though; if that thing is 2 km high I don't think you'd have to worry about those thorns poking you... now if one fell on you, that would be a problem. But you could take any thorns that had fallen off and turn them into office buildings and such. Also, what material is he made out of? I'm pretty sure that no known building materials could maintain that shape without collapsing (maybe buckyballs? reinforced with carbon nanotubes? but I doubt it). Unless this is on a planet other than Earth; preferably one with far less gravity.

I think it looks awesome. The brown "hair" below the leaves is a nice touch.

The scale is too ridiculously large, but the drawing's alright.

Very nice and cute. However, it doesn't have any leaves for photosynthesis. Only the other plant, a vine, climbling up its stem has leaves... Or are they symbiotic?

That looks really cool, but it gives me the impression of being quite small, not 1000x higher than a human.

I agree with Sats. I like, however, the pseudo-cuteness and the rich color.

I did draw some stick figures one pointing up talking on his cell phone and another stuck with a thorn... but Halucid thought it would take away from the picture so I erased them.... grrrrrr to you Halucid. Yes I reealize the scale is too big but look at the ones in my front lawn.... their nothing short of a sky scraper.

You have no idea how impressed I am that this isn't some poem or something.

Hahaha, I just watched little shop of horrors DVD the other night, this totally reminds me of that, which is a good thing, I guess. :)
