The Wild World of Wacky Weapons Part 2: The Flying Guillotine

It's the Flying Guillotine. Unlike the Scissor sword, this has a lot of reference pics. I decided to make something up. RPG weapon.

The way I figure, the inner ring is on rails where the teeth go theough the outer ring, so it spins independently of the outer ring.

Why is there such an abnormally large internet following for the Flying Guillotine? It's insane. Here we see the equally insane teeth/rail system.

The weilder of this weapon must have the most bizarre and high-ended weapons profficiencies in DnD history just to avoid losing an arm.

-Tune in next time, when we will take an in-depth look at... The Rail Gun.

I dunno o.o;; It seems to be a case of trying to trap your opponent in the hoop and then giving it a swing in a direction of choice. But for that the enemy would need to have the most awful awareness stat. XD

Anyways, a nice model methinks.

Well, it does look pointy.
DO NOT WANT.

That was in some movie wasn't it? Looks cool.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Seems like that would be a bit hard to wield...Tiny little pole with a huge death contraption at the end of it.

It's a rope.

-Yeah, it was a movie. That's why I had to go with a new design.

Ah, I didn't know it was a rope. Shouldn't it be more like a chain with a handle, basically like a flail, yet with a large deadly device at the end instead of the ball with spikes.

I was more going for the idea that the rope is the *unitmportant* part, like it's made up on the spot. Like a bow, where (for the most part) the string is fairly unimportant.
That, and chain takes more effort to model than a single long cylinder.

-Yeah, fine. I'll make a chain. It'd probably look good, too.

chain wouldnt be hard. It's just a matter of making the first link and copy/pastying then fitting them together the right way. And it would look good.

I know, I just don't like copy-pasting stuff over and over again and having to position it carefully. It always feels like trying to draw a straight line in one stroke free-hand. You know it's possible, and you know it's not coming out as bad as you fear, but you end up freaking out and spiralling off at the end with all sorts of weird bumps and stuff and then you're crying and the art teacher has to take you to the nurses office so you can get the special pills that make everything fuzzy and hard to see but it's like cotton candy in your head and you like your funny little bumpy line and then you drool on the paper and ruin it but it's ok because there's another paper and another pencil but the line starts to get all wavy while you draw it and you laugh and it won't laugh back so you laugh again and then you get serious because the fun part of the pill wears off too early all the time and then you have to concentrate or else you fall asleep and then...
...
I think I'll make the chain look interesting. Maybe, like, wierd spirals or something. Like with the Vorpal Sword.

-Or maybe just a normal looking chain, like you'd find anywhere in a hitch.
