Good start, but it's seriously bland even for a cargo ship.
the jk cargo ship also has parts where pipes, tubing, and other things that jut out are exposed. It might be good to model some of the more prominent pipes, beams, etc. It would help break up the current monotony of the current design. The bottom part of the ship (the part that looks like the handle of a gun) has a bunch of antenna things sticking out near the bottom, try modelling those.
It never ceases to amaze me in how LEC was so half-a**ed when it came to modeling. The engine clearly supports high-poly models, LEC just didn't bother to make them.
(I realize that high poly models might have caused slowdown on older machines of the 1997 era, but would it have killed LEC to let the user decide between hi-poly and low-poly models during setup (if the user had a good machine for that time) just like how they can choose between high and low quality sound and low res and high-res cutscenes, depending on their hardware?)
