Well, I suppose this is sort of my entrance work to JKR .... ;)

Still a lot of work to do, but it's all I could do in 90min, while I already should be in bed ... :o

For now, here's a little something to pass the time :)

Fantastic! I can't wait to see more. Although, this model is less important on the list of tasks. It really doesn't matter either way though, as you tend to make quick progress.

please make it two sided. I'm sick of making maps and stuff with one sided ships, just like Jabba the Hut's sail barge for filming
This is retarded, and I mean drooling at the mouth

Was it one sided?

I guess where only half of the ship is actually modelled because you never see the other half...?

Look at most of the default JK weapon pov models for what I mean... most do not have a full geometry on the right side
May the mass times acceleration be with you.

Most don't have anything what you'd honour to name geometry whatsoever. ;)

What's funny about this ship is that it lacks so much detail, yet that's not General_Trageton's fault, it's whoever designed that ship. I watched the cutscene recently where that's in space descending to the Valley of the Jedi, and in the background is Jerec's star destroyer. The lack of design between the two ships is quite a leap. I understand that it's a cargo ship so it doesn't have to be fancy, but at the same time it looked really plain IMO. Maybe it will look a lot better with JKR though :)

I <3 the absolutely stupid bulkiness of that ship, actually.

Good start, but it's seriously bland even for a cargo ship.

the jk cargo ship also has parts where pipes, tubing, and other things that jut out are exposed. It might be good to model some of the more prominent pipes, beams, etc. It would help break up the current monotony of the current design. The bottom part of the ship (the part that looks like the handle of a gun) has a bunch of antenna things sticking out near the bottom, try modelling those.

It never ceases to amaze me in how LEC was so half-a**ed when it came to modeling. The engine clearly supports high-poly models, LEC just didn't bother to make them.

(I realize that high poly models might have caused slowdown on older machines of the 1997 era, but would it have killed LEC to let the user decide between hi-poly and low-poly models during setup (if the user had a good machine for that time) just like how they can choose between high and low quality sound and low res and high-res cutscenes, depending on their hardware?)
