A WIP practice for my comic that I'll one day make.
My first time with color/shading :-/
I sort of stole coloring/shading techniques from Questionable Content.

Not bad, but the highlighted stripes on the hair somehow clash with eachother...maybe the alignment is wrong for one of them?

It's actually not too bad so far. You're slowly developing a unique style. I'm quite eager to see where this new "cartoonist" trip yer on will lead you. Perhaps you should think of doing a few strips? With your witt, I know you can pound out some damn funny ones.

Below the waist, the linework is pretty sloppy. Fun though.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the highlights on the hair would look better if they were in the same direction.

Can you possibly MSPaint what you mean? There are several ways to interpit that, and I want to make sure I'm understanding it correctly.

I mean the highlights should be parallel to each other, instead of perpendicular. It would probably be best to rotate the one on the left to match the one on the right.

The 'shine' on the hair needs to align together to creat a circle--it doesn't work any other way and just clashes.

A. Streaks in hair aren't properly aligned.
B. They're waaay too bright. Looks like she has bleach in her hair.
C. Because a list with just 2 items looked stupid.

If you are using flash for these comics, I am kicking you right in the nuts!

Other than that, they look too generic and....ripped off. The design looks like I've seen it a million times before...and I KNOW you can do better. Shame on you! *waves finger*

How do you know I can do better? I assure you, my potential is crap. I am like a 50c whore. Just let me draw generic comics until I get it out of my system, you *******.

I'm using illustrator. However, I'd love to get flash, cause a lot of jokes I've always wanted to do would look hil-ar-ious in movement, rather than comics.

I disagree, its an original style.

However, i do think eventually you will improve... especially if you draw alot of these.
