I'm pretty sure I posted an early early picture of this dude on here maybe 2 months ago. I did not touch computer art since then but last night I got a sudden urge so I got back to working on it. Finished the facial painting (ears and hair and whatnot) and also started on the armor. What do you guys think of it? Any flat colors obviously isnt done.

He will be holding a glowing artefact in his hands at the end.

I'm assuming the sword handle and cape and pretty much most of it is unfinished?

Looks pretty good, though somehow the hair doesn't seem to fit well with the face. Kinda looks like a wig, or like the hair is just floating over the head, but not attatched... But I have no idea how you'd fix that.

Oh, and the next looks a bit funny. Those tendons (or whatever they are) are a bit to pronounced...

The main reason they come out so pronounced, and its really hard to look at right now, is because the light will be flashing up almost directly at it. Else it wouldn't be so cut out.

You may want to reconsider his strangely proportioned forehead.

His lips still look flat. They need more shading. Otherwise, fantastic.

erm... grismath, if you are commenting on some being painted... and some cartoon... I suggest you read the text above a picture before you comment on something. I said right there that any flat colors were obviously not finished! I mean come on

Looks great aside from the obvious WIP stuff.

Nay its the layer of fur used to make the armor warm. That or he's wearing a fur shirt. Or soemthing. But not chest hair.

it looks like his neck and head are huge, but his face is smaller than the rest of his head. i'd say the forehead needs to be slightly larger, and the jaw widened a bit to make it look more normal.

Actually. the seemingly bigger head and neck are a result of a mix of his bulk, the lighting and the puffy hair. And proportions albeit he does tend to have a shorter forehead (not unnaturaly short though) are pretty much on par. He's a bulky guy and I've used photo-references while drawing, so unless the guys i was drawing from were deformed (and of course you could argue body builders are :p) this is pretty exact.

He IS staring down after all.

Why the frown? What's wrong with chest hair? I have a Hasselhoffian abundance of carefully groomed chest hair, and I publicly flaunt it at every chance! I have acquired a great deal of fame as a result of it!

Yes but the man who has a crown of it circling his collar should not be proud of it :p
