ok, I guess you guys didn't read my other thred... with the sculpture...
This was designed and made for a student film. I know what you are thinking..
there is no way you can use a latex mask in a movie with it's mouth open 100% of the time!
I know cause I was thinking the same thing. Well, it goes like this, the Director told me last week that he was filming this weekend... so I had from then till now to finish it... he also said that rather then take the chance at making a foam latex puppet (which would have looked really awesome and would have been really fun on my part) he just wanted a latex mask... I pleaded with him to let me make it to show expression, blinking eyes and such, but he said "no dice"... he said you will only see the creature in a picture... and int he picture it is attacking... the rest of the time it is just a shadowy figure walking around, never really showing it...
So i guess a no moveable latex mask will work for that [grumble]...
It does really suck though now, cause even if we WANTED to make a puppet of it, just for fun.. with facial expressions, and blinking eyes and such... we couldn't... cause the mouth was SCULPTED open... and if it closes, the material will bunch up around the mouth... If the mouth was sculpted closed, the material would simply stretch around the mouth when it is opened...
As for the "I want it for $100" and the "mask shop" posts, I want you guys to know that I still have ALL THE MOLDS TO EVERY MASK I HAVE MADE.... and I could easily make as many copies of a mask that I want (allow for some changes in paint job - cause I have to hand paint each one) If you guys are interested in ANY of the masks, just e-mail me at

But be warned.. this mask was molded spicifically for looks, and it has NO eye holes. They could simply be cut in, but I'm not sure what it would look like.
