Literally, as the Dhilani paint their ships with the blood of their enemies



Time to get back to releasing TBP Stuff.

The exotic looking Octopus is the Dhilani Understanding of a Gunboat. It could be best described as a flying energy gattling gun than anything else. The rear half of the main body is basically one big engine propelling the Octopus to enormous speeds to allow fast and furious attack runs towards large targets. In fact this is necessary, because due to its poor maneuverability the fighter is not suitable for dogfighting.

why is it translucent?!

It isn't. The screens are right out of the game. What you see is all textures.

oh... hmm.. then why do all the textures have little white spots that look like stars showing through on them?

To quote myself, right before I posted the pics:



There were rather few stars in the pic so I used a starfield filling, didn't notice though that the tolerance was set too high so the stars were painted over the ship as well.

And when I noticed that I just couldn't bother correcting the images, since I already had uploaded everything and (for this more week) a number of stairs lie between my working computer and the one connected to the internet.

Has anyone ever told you that you're quite good at this whole ship design thing?

wouldn't the blood be brown?

Maybe not, since you need air to dry blood out, which makes it that yellowish brown color. Since it's in space maybe it's just beleived that it would stay red.

What if it's an alien race that has a much lighter color for blood, like pink, so that it dries red instead of brown?
