after so long they've atrophied. This is just a quick project to get back into the swing of things. I know it's not really anything special...
(that hallway's gonna go somewhere in the first shot. It's just walled off for now... In the second shot, there's something special about that wall.. Can you tell what it is?)

since when did prity-Boi Sarn edit JK?

WOOHOO !!! Not looking too bad, as always, I suggest new textures, sexy 16bit.
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

Not bad. :)

Ruth, I've edited since I've been here... I just rarely show anything off, and I haven't done anything in a while...

and if this ends up going anywhere, I'll probably retexture the whole thing... with 16bit of course.

I wish i still edited JK. But it's graphics make me sick. :(

Still its a nice start, albeit it doesn't make sense for a brick wall to curve like that. :P

there are plenty of curved brick walls, especially in Ottonian (i think) churches in France.

Looks good!

The Romans build a lot out of red bricks during a certain period, a lot of arches as well (=> curved brick architecture) ( http://www.livius.org/a/italy/rome/arch_dolabella/arch_dolabella.JPG quick google of what I mean)

In shot 2, I think I can see a secret, or maybe a little difference in the wall.
I had a blog. It sucked.

I can't find a single repeat on that wall. Lots of different wall textures, or individual bricks?

Omicron gets it.. but not how it was done..

Any takers?

Dear god, I hope not. You just shifted around the UV's of the textures so that they align along the brick borders, no?

that's correct, fardreamer.

Took some time, but it really helps... cause that way our brains don't notice any patterns.

Anyway, I did some more work on it this morning and I'll work more on it tonight when I get home from work, and then post some new screenshots.

ok, I did a lot of work last night, but it was mostly "behind the scenes" work. I was merging and cleaving and merging and resizing and moving vertices, etc... Got rid of a million unnecessary surfaces. Now I have to do some retexturing.
