Pirate Vs. Ninja

Any C&C welcome. Also, I need a band name for whoever makes it. So suggestions would be nice

The poses of the characters (pirate and ninja) dont look natural.

Also, use a different font for the title, i dont like that one that big.

I see, I'll try to find another font. Any suggestions on how to fix the figures poses? Which parts look unnatural?

If you used the pen toolfor those characters, I'd say you've used too many anchor points. Makes the lines all wobbly.

I used my tablet, and drew with a brush.

For the pirate, the arms look like they're bending the wrong way. And there's something wrong with that lump on his backside. The ninja just looks like a ballerina, or a ribbon dancer. :p

Band name: culture clash...

I'd remove the word 'tracks' from the back. I think it's obvious that those are the tracks, you don't have to state it. Have a look at ALL your bought music cd's - you'd really be struggling to find one that says 'tracks'.

Ok, I'll get rid of tracks. But does anyone know how I could fix the poses?

I guess get yourself some reference of people flying around like that :p

1) You've got something crazy going on with the anatomy on the pirate. Try to get a friend to take the pose you want, and work from that. Failing that, try to google one. Try to direct your search to the pose you want rather then the character, since you can always just grab the pose and add onto it.

2) Also, your ninja looks a bit static. Same solution as before, with the poses and the google.

3) Try shading your ninja the same way you shaded the pants on the pirate. It'd add unity, since you used that treatment on everything else.
