I am going to be drawing both Rob and now Shintok in my comic. I need suggestions on the hair for Shintok, however. Anyone?

Done in about 20 minutes.

Maybe if the hair is too complicated, make me wear a tuque. It's Canada here, it's always ****ing cold, and I never have it off. :p

Personally, I think the hair looks great the way it is. :)

That is really well styalized. Like NoESC said, I knew who it was instantly, but at the same time I like the cartoony elements. You seem to have improved a lot at this since the last drawing I saw by you. My only peeve is the hair and beard colors being different. Even if you're trying to make it true to life, it seems to clash a bit, or at least, it really bothers my sense of symmety.... :o

Yeah, the colors are completelly random for now, and this is just a preliminary sketch to get his general features down. I'm going to be playing with him a lot. [hehe]

Here's another vote for "toque". I forgot mine at home though; a baseball cap really isn't cutting it anymore. Also, I approve of the drawings. Shintock looks like my former roommate.

Why is his hair brown, but his eyebrows and facial hair are black?

Other than that, I like it :)

I'm thinking of calling the comic [All short jokes]

"Always Falling Short"
"Half Way House"
"Point Five"
"Half-step"

Basically, it's going to be something like CAD used to be, with a vague storyline, but a few comics here an there that are stand-alone. Most of the continuing storyline will have short jokes, relationship jokes, etc. Very little of the comic will be videogame discussion, so my desired "Friendly Fire" doesn't really apply.

Any other suggestions?

"Always Falling Short" sounds pretty good, and would go pretty well with the sarcastic nature of your scenarios, IMO.

Ummm... I like what I see so far. The characters are flat, but in a quite acceptable way, considering what they're gonna be used for. Art-wise, you pulled off the clean look quite nicely, we just need to see a finished comic! or a sketched comic anyways, and no scripts! Script w/o drawings = less than it could be.
