Yes, another JK map. This one is for the JK Hub contest -- it's called Blender ][. I hammered it out in 2 days, and I was left feeling pretty unsatisfied with JK's limitations... I'm thinking of creating the for JA or Q3, but that's a story for another day. Any feedback/comments/suggestions are welcome.

Slick, but it needs more ZEST. It's so bland!

Style, I guess. I know you're going for simplistic level design, but with a level that smooth and un-detailed you have to have something really striking, and that's not it. I think more contrast in the texturing would do a lot in that direction.

Also: if you're going to do lighting that bright then use a daytime skybox you silly man.

I really like it. A lot. Damn.

Reminds me of that one JK CTF map, besides the sex architexture.

Congrats Asp for doing JK

if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

JK works fine on my radeon. Course, it is FULL OF ROUNDING ERRORS. Near as I can tell, JK snaps verticies to even pixels, creating all sorts of NASTY GAPS, even where there AREN'T T-JUNCTIONS! And also, at higher resolutions, you can see edges 'wiggle'.
Wikissassi sucks.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

What radeon do you have? (incidentally, my only major problem is that the colours keep going wonky)

Oh; everything I listed happens with any card, and even in software mode. It's just not really noticible until you max out your res (And stick a bright skybox behind dark architecture...) It's a 350m; a 9700 or 9600 smashed into half the normal space - not sure which.
Wikissassi sucks.

what is this "lighting plug-in" that everyone is talking about, and WHERE can I get it?

Sige wrote it.. it takes a light in a layer and creates cleaves, in turn to become shadows. You can get it at the Hub under Tools.

Thanks for the comments! I'm going to try and tweak things a bit to make it a tad more realistic and dump it in my level pack I'm working on. The map as it stands is on JK Hub and is available for download.

I'd like to see more archi. Other than that, a great concept for a level. Something else that would be cool would be like two or three of these rooms tacked on together, but that's just my thoughts. Good stuff man, I'd love to see what you could do with UE2 if you're this good with JK :)

Well, it was smaller than I thought it would be. more than 1vs1 would be too cramped. I like the lighting and smooth archi, but its still quite small. the 2nd pic would make a neat SOTD.
