Theme for a friend's RPG game

A friend of mine is making a 2D rpg game and I am working on this theme song (or maybe just a song for a quest or something).

Check it out how it is so far and please give comments or suggestions.

Sounds good but it seems more suited to being background music for a futuristic town (ala neotokyo in terranigma) or a techy dungeon of sorts. Doesn't really sound right for a prominant piece such as a theme tune, for something like that you need it to be more powerful and melody-driven.

That little flute-y thing towards the end and middle needs to also be around for the first part of the song.

It's not hooky enough for a theme. You'd need more than just pads and a drum.

Well, I did mention in the original post that this was a theme, OR maybe just for a level or like starting a quest or something. Its meant to be just sort of laid back and relaxing.

Any other comments plz take note of that, im more curious how it sounds as it is. Although I will keep in mind to beef it up if/when i make the actual opening theme.

in case anybody wonders, this is made with

I really like it, it sounds like good futuristic atmosphere-building music.
