Hey all.
My pastor had me make a banner for his blog.
His blog is titled "The Impish Antagonist"
so I thought it would work well to make an impish caricature of him.
Now keep in mind that this is now finished so no changes will be made but I'd still like some critique in the event I have opportunity to do this again.

This was my first attempt to color a sketch digitaly.

Wow, nice. Nice of him to recognize you and post your picture in his blog. Can't say it look a lot like him and you exagerated his most prominet characteristics, but there is a resemblence and you have a lot of talent. Keep it up!

I dont like the colors in the final banner... too bland. (Well the yellow does at least. and especially with the guy colored in)
The sans serif font you used looks kinda blurry too. is that just because of the compression?

Good drawing! I think he's too small in the last pic.

It's a very good drawing, but the guy is a bit on the heavier side, and doesn't quite have the long neck you've drawn. Anyway, it's very well done, technically.

Impish. I like it.

True, but the idea behind this one was to make the guy impish. Bulkier imo would look more orcish. I think its an excellent drawing, and i like the shading in his clothing very much. The only thing I'd suggest is perhaps more shading and details over the skin areas, maybe a tad bit more contrast in the detail already there. None the less its great and I'm being picky.

Pretty awesome. Though I think more contrast on the drawing would have worked well for the final banner. As it is, it looks kinda faded.
