It would have been more fun if you could see the other person. And if you moved around a little bit.

and it really didn't look like they fired, it just looked like an extendo-beam or something. sounds kinda sucked. and the music was written AND PERFORMED by John Williams!? i don't think it would be "performed" :\

One third of the time I was forced to watch a commercial, another third were the credits. The rest was neither funny, nor entertaining. The sound was nothing like star wars, the lasers were done horribly. They could at least be made of decent graphics, nevermind leaving scorchmarks or something. The camera angle was mostly pointless and uninspired. When i finished watching it two questions rose in my head. 1) Why did I bother and 2) what was the point of this movie.
From the movie I'm guessing the answer to the second is that you found out something like movie maker on your pc and figured now you HAD to use with some cam you borrowed somewhere. Without any skill or knowledge about it whatsoever. Like with first levels, with films it is exactly the same, don't release it. Unless you're somekind of prodigy or something. No offense meant.

Funny fact: I wasted more time writing this than watching your movie ;)

I'm sure you can do better...

The problem with those blasters is just that they looked like some plain red cylinder pasted on the image. They were also appearing and dissapearing without any sense of the direction, the blasters could have come from the guy directly into your blaster... At least cut them so that they seem to go somewhere. I work in 2D and it looks much more better than that...

The lasers don't align with the barrel of the gun, hehe.

Ouch. Actually, it's just my first try a rotoscoping, that's the main point of the movie. Just trying to find what works. I'll be filming this weekend. Hope it turns out better, lol. Thanks for the input guys, I need people who will be brutally honest.

[nerd]Was I the only one to notice that was a phaser from star trek as opposed to a blaster from star wars?[/nerd]

anyway, I couldn't do it, so I'll say good job.
