It's that time again, when I randomly show up and post pics of whatever new thing I'm working on.
Short explanation behind this thing: I finally decided to play with Soft Selection in 3DS Max, and ended up with a weird torso-type-thing. It's still a work in progress; need to create the head, finish the tail/massive arms off the back, and make a real texture. Current colors are just placeholders (Max materials, mostly Marble maps).
Poly count is through the roof because I'm working with a subdivide size of 2-3. It's somewhere around 54k right now. Gonna create a normal map and simplify the model after everything is done.
Anyway, enough talk! On to the pics!
