But I figured Why Not?

Murc inspried me to take a few photos today, which can be found in the "Spring, 2006" folder. The other lot I've showcased here before.

These were all taken with my Canon PowerShot S300 Digital Elph, so they're not at ALL the quality or control I'd like them to be. I have a B&W 35mm with a Macro lense attachment, but I haven't developed many of those pictures, and I really hate our scanner. Maybe I'll upload them for this album, though. The site is really shibby.

I'd LOVE to hear your favorites, least favorites, a different order of images, whatever. Use their captions to reference them.

Photoshop + white balance with your camera will help out a ton.

Turn off the radio (omg reel big fish) is the only one with a decent composition. It looks alright, but something is off about it. I think its probably the fact that the garage is overexposed.

Reel big fish? I never saw that. To be honest, the title was random.

I like "Empress," that kittie cat is a total pudge. :D

"Overtaken" is also a nice pic. Reminds me of a photo I took once of a silhouette of some birds in a tree.

So yeah, those are my two favs. I think you should have some more colorful photos in there too, because they all seem rather monotone and faded. Nice job, though. ;)

You just need to work on a main subject. I see the pictures and my eyes wander all over the screen trying to find the main topic. They aren't bad though.
Think while it's still legal.

much like SAJN said, they are lacking a subject. you've set the stage now wheres the actors? the ones of the cat are the only ones that answer this question.

the people shots dont count. they're snapshots. you cant just snapshots. they come from people looking through the viewfinder, not at it. to the pohotgrapher there is an emotional attachment to the subject, but to the viewer, all there is, is a person we dont know. we ask ourselves, "why is this person worth taking a picture of?" and so, snapshots. meaningful to you and your friends, but not to anyone else.
