This is a room I made for Edwards Ugnaught level. He wanted help and I had nothing better to do so here it is. I don't know if Edward will use it or not but oh well.

Wow, good useage of LEC textures. I can't texture my own ***, so I'm a bit jealous here. It's why I never released my levels...

Doesn't look like anything that hasn't been done a half thousand time in the past 8 years... Curves and textures... and a little lighting effect at center.

It doesn't have to be something new and innovative to showcase on the forums.

I like it.

It wastn't meant to be absolutly original. I wouldn't have used LEC textures if I really was worried about that. I just wanted a nice looking room for Edwards Ugnaught level. It won't be put in his level however. There appearantly isn't enough room for something that is 6 JKUs across. I just thought it would be nice to have a JK level showcased for once. It seems to me the showcase forum is somewhat dead.

If it makes anyone feel better, the texture on the center pillar is an animated mat with 10 cells. That's not too ordinary.

I miss how you used to talk in those condensed little paragraphs.

Everyone got angry at me. I don't even know
why. It's like it was a big deal or something.
I just got sick of the comments. That's all
people would say in my showthreads. I also
haven't been editing as much just because of
school, but with summer inpending I have
picked it up again. People are so anal. They
want everyone to conform to everything. I
don't understand why it matters if we all do
things the same way. Well anyway... Maybe
I'll start typing like this again and forget what
they say. Oh well. I'll showcase my Great
Wall of China level when it's perfected, but
currently, I don't have the time to finish it
till schools out.

I like when you type like that, it makes it easy to identify you even if I don't look at your name. It's like your signature style. Also, I'd love to see your great wall of china map. If it's anything like your egypt one then I'm sure it'll be great.

I like it.
Sometimes it's good to see something that's simply done well even if it is common.

It looks good and shows that architecture could be intresting in any form. Like the yellow texture in the middle

Thanks guys!

I'll get my Great Wall map going pretty soon here.
It is a lot cooler than my egypt level just because
I've put a lot more thought into gameplay. I also
have much more expirience. The Egypt level was
only about my 3rd real level so it isn't so great.

That would be a good addition to a mapset like Area21. Someone should start another project like that and have various peoples make sweet rooms.
This is retarded, and I mean drooling at the mouth

It would be fun to make a map with
a ton of different authors. Every
area of the level would have its
own style. That would rock. It
would be a level like those
progressive stories where each
person writes one part and
passes it. It could be neat.
I'd like to start it. It could be
done easily on the hub as a
project. When I get the time I'll
start it. Good Idea!

I tried to do that back in like '01 or '02; can't remember.

Didn't work because once the first guy sent his additions back to me I got bored of it and didn't send it to anyone else.

Though with someone a bit more persistent at the helm, it could work great.

Did that city block collaboration level ever get made? Each author was supposed to build one block of a city starting with some template this dude made.

It will work because I plan to
do it with the Hub. Each person
that contributes to the level will
be added to the project page so
they can upload it. Then the
download will be available to
unlimited users. If someone
wants to help all they'll have to
do is post in a forum and wait for
the next person to finish their
portion. Then I'll just add the
new person and they can
download the project and upload
it when they need to.
