Looks like I had Unity stuff on the brain the pst couple of days. The three Unity fighter classes, Shocktroop, and Bloodwing:

Cannibal Fighter - First output of the Unity's Bloodwing Project - 'unmanned' fighter. Fast, Maneuverable, deadly. 4 light energy cannons, 2 medium energy cannons, 1 magnetic cannon, 2 warhead launchers.

Dragon Fighter - Mainstay fighter of the Unity fleet, much as the TIE in SW. Except more durable and with shields :). 4 energy cannons

Unity Assault Fighter - Heavy assault fighter - 2 light energy cannons, 2 medium energy cannons, 1 magnetic cannon, 2 warhead launchers.

Shocktrooper - Male verpien soldiers. Because of their wings, they are used in special operations and rarely in garrison duties.

Bloodwing - Robotic shell controlled by slave-rigged brains. I'd rather not give away much more

Those ships look a lot better than the previous sketches, which were slightly wobbly. Excellent.

The third is what I'd like to craft my UFO to look like in Spore. :)

He meant he couldn't draw human characters. Good thing those aren't meant to be human, or we'd have to totally diss the proportions and posture.
Wikissassi sucks.

Yeh :). I CAN draw characters, I just usually prefer to do other stuff. But armored characters is usually pretty easy for me. And yeh, drawing non-humans means I don't have to worry about those proportions.

they do kind of seem to... lean forward a bit.

Besides which, those feet on the first one are tiny... Poor guy must have a small... err nevermind.

Anyway, I thought you couldn't design the UFO in Spore. Am I wrong? Cause I hope I am.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Lassev: I guess there was something captivating in savagery, because I liked it.

Yeh, the forward lean is intentional. If you look back through my page at the EC (I don't know where exactly) there's a sketch of the Karlot out of armor, and the lean is there too. It's just their posture - kind of hunched. Since the bloodwing is a Karlot design, it fell into the same mold. As for the Shocktrooper's feet, I'm still undecided on what to do with them, and was unsure when I posted. The Karlots are supposed to have long, spindly legs, so it would be bizarre for them to have large feet. They're supposed to kind of click when they walk - they're insectoids, after all. So any suggestions how to do this?

New stuff:

Unity Crescent Bomber - twin energy cannons, two missile launchers, and bomb bays underneath.

Ariel Assault Bomber - variant of the Ariel starfighter, but wider and featuring a modified armament. Two energy cannons, and two enormous bomb bays.
