Stripped Down E-11

I had this idea the other day and just had to model it.
Sometimes, members of NRI are captured by smugglers, pirates, the Empire, whatever. Sometimes they get their dirty hands on an E-11 stormtrooper blaster rifle. And sometimes they fiddle with it to make it better.
The stripped down E-11 blaster rifle is adapted to use larger, heavier, more powerful, and easier to come by energy cells than the standard E-11 does. The stripped down E-11 fires faster, and with more power, than a standard E-11 with severely reduced accuracy and causing a sharp increase in drainage of the energy cell. Additionally, the stripped down E-11 is easier to conceal than a full E-11, but has much sharper recoil.
Basically, the same idea as a sawed-off, applied to a STrifle.

-I used a real STrifle as the reference and then chopped it to itty-bitty bits. There used to be a scope on it... but I thought... well, that doesn't make much sense, does it?

I think the stock can fold out and work rifle-tastically.
Plus, it's used like a rifle instead of a pistol. Held with two hands, one on the stock and the other on the... uh... handle...

-... or whatever it's called.

One hand on the foregrip and one on the pistol grip

Yeah... yeah, that's what I said.

-Dammit, clicked reply with quote instead of edit...

Cool, but wouldn't it still be a bit.. rounded? Even when stripped?

wasn't the orginal strfile basicly a WWII era fg-42 painted black and tweaked? if thats the case, it was a small rifle that was used by german paratroopers.

The FG42 wasn't exactly small, even when its size was decreased later in the war (I mean, it was a LMG, not a rifle afterall...).

I like that model, jarl, and I like the background concept.

The stock extends, there's a scope, the default fire is not automatic, and... the barrel is rifled for the plasma to travel more accurately. :S

e-11 was based off the sterling submachine gun
