The Kali-class Heavy Aerodestroyer (new picz!)

I put on some masts, finished the wings (I decided they're attached by some eldritch magical tractor-beam type thing because wings3d keeps crashing when I try to attach them to the hull of the ship), and detailed the deck.
I decided not to put any weapons on the ship (besides the heavy cannons in front which are actually set into the ship) because I didn't have the strength and patience necessary to attach each frikkin cannon to the hull and then to the deck too...
I'd detail some of it's history, but you people hate my stories.

-Short version: Bigger badder sister of the Shiva-class Light Aerodestroyer. Thickly armored, heavily armed, incredibly strong wings, carries smaller airships, blah blah blah. The Executor, basically.

So what are the masts for, like radar and stuff?

I like it very much. :)

Ask and ye shall recieve.
But just this once.
Now, the big flaming orange/yellow/red thing (made using lights in Cinema 4d, which I what I spent most of the project time making) is Firelance, a weapon fired from the heavy cannons up front. They also shoot shipshot (shotgun cartidges the size of coffins), harpoons, targetting beacons (for rail guns mounted on wet-navy rail frigates) and probably other stuff I haven't thought of yet. Maybe rockets.
Firelance is basically a large spear coated in a kind of acid, heated up yellow-hot, and fired at the target. In the final pic, it's hit a dirigible unit and ignited it.

-The Kali (which I now realize lacks sails or wings, oops) is firing at a Cophi Sky-Carrier which isn't ready for you guys to see yet (double-oops). As you can see, the carrier go boom at the end of the exchange, which is possible for a Kali-class aerodestroyer to do to a sky-carrier. [/nerd]

Why would anyone design a space ship like that?
Wikissassi sucks.

Because they couldn't sleep? :P

Not the one with the pillows. The one that looks like it would be better suited to water; except that it would have guns below the water line and the waves would rip those rediculous 'wings' off.
Wikissassi sucks.

It's an airship. Hence "Aerodestroyer".
It flies. The wet-navy design of the main hull is so it can take-off from and land in water. Admittedly, this one has some trouble with the taking off part, but if/when the wings get blown off by a stray rocket, it can land safely in the water.

-You know... as long as it's not too high up.
