Finally got my hands on a JK disk, so I pulled out JED and did some modelling. I present to you, the Unity Assault Fighter. Built it almost entirely today - just a couple hours last night in addition.

I think I'm going to do a little something more with the rearmost cylinder of the engines. Some sort of supports or braces running along them. They're too just - bleh right now.

Reminds me of Descent. I like Descent.

Well, now that I'm just modelling these for the sake of making cool pics with them, I'm not worrying so much about how many polies it's got. :) So that mgiht be part of it.

Expect more in the weeks ahead!

JED!?

Like I said in the other thread. This is totally my style. I'd fly that thing any day.

It's cool, though I don't think the rounded nose goes with the pointy wings.

Yeh, the Karlot's Four Arrows have clowly mutated into a Maltese Cross over the years.

And the book is slowly coming along. I forgot to send myself the file, though, so it's all back on my computer in Nebraska. So it's been pen and paper right now, because I still haven't bothered to load word.

And as for the round cockpit sharp wing - that's the motif of most of the Unity craft, if you look through my models and sketches.
