(small image, uploaded while at work, but you can get the idea.)

Your sketch makes Sarn look more like an English prep boy - particularly the longer, blonde hair and the fairer features. I always imagined him to look more like you do in real life (and has been suggested in your character profile), with shorter, curly dark hair and dark skin (darker than fair anyway) and still giving off an air of a "Mr. Know-it-All" but in a less wimpy Ivy League school way. Maybe I'll give a crack at a version myself. We'll see.

Assuming we get this whole "illustrations of NeS characters for their profiles" thing off the ground, I hope we'll get them colored. I think it'll really help.

18th century my ***. Sarn has an eye for fashion.

Here's take 2.

(I can't save as jpg, so photobucket shrinks them down quite a bit and coverts them to jpg. Sorry they're tiny)

oh, and Geb, you're right about the hair/skin thing. I would have made them with darker hair/skin, but they're pencil drawings and shading gets kinda nasty. I'm gonna do some work in photoshop though, and see what I can do.

Darkened the skin and hair up pretty significantly on both pictures and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, but I'm too lazy to upload. Keep in mind these are just sketches to get me a feel. When I'm ready to make my actual picture, I'll sketch an outline on blank paper (not lined) then scan it into computer and color with photoshop.
