It's my new CTF WIP. Suggestions would be nice. Please keep in mind that this is nowhere near being finished, not to mention that the lighting as of right now is temporary and just for effect.

Looks promising, what would really be cool is if thos bars on the floor were also casting shadows.
Spoting an error in post will result in a $100 reward.

OMG IS TAHT JK?!?!?

I won't comment on the lighting, since you said it was temporary. Is there any way to tell one team's side from the other? I see a slightly pink tinge on the walls...Other than that, I'd add some more flame brackets to the walls- they're a little too sparse to be realistic at this point.

You've got some odd contrast with the lower and upper areas, and overall, it doesn't feel as graphically pleasing as it could. The textures seem rather bland to me.

I can't without doing massive damage to the adjoin count. I've got a few ideas to simulate the shadows, though.

Creepers jeepers, where'd you get those textures? I can't get the idea that they are one of the HFX packs out of my head, even though I don't actually recognize them.

Very motsy though.

I'm curious to know how you did the shadow effects, did you convert it from 3dos to archi or what?

Looks sw33t. nuff said.

I did a rough outline of the 3do with archi, ran lighter, then deleted the archi. It's very tedious to clean up the surfaces lighter makes for the adjoins, but it seems to be worth it.

All it needs is a huge lava pit of OMGDOOM and you have a Quake 3 map on your hands :p :D

I think that main floor texture is a little akward. It's kind of small and tiles weird so it looks like carpet. It also adds little contrast to the walls. It would look better if it were the same kind of brick, or at least the same color, as those tan walls and floors.

Other than that, it's looking perfect.

I always liked those castlesque style levels, keep it up. That flat area with the torches looks pretty plain though, maybe some 3do work will help
