Star Craft TC - Lost... and then found.

... so there I was, trying to free up hard drive space, looking for things to delete. "My archives" I thought, "I don't need all 40 gigs of that junk". So I started going through all my old projects I've been saving for the last 10 years (various web projects, game projects, old images, etc)...

... when I stumbled upon two gems.

Many many moons ago I created and hosted a website for an online buddy of mine (who went by ll0 Templar 0ll) who was working on a Star Craft TC. I never took the website down, in fact you can still view it now (http://www.phoenixknights.net/starcraftjk/). It's not everyday that I just volunteer to make AND host someone's site for free. But if you've ever looked at the models and effects Templar was working on, you'll agree that they're pretty impressive (especially by 1999 standards). So I made the site and Templar kept working on the project, and I became his sole beta-tester.

Unfortunately, a hard drive crash ended the project. He lost his files and I couldn't find the latest beta copy that had sent me.

Well, after 6 years, I finally found it.

I'm pretty sure Templar (wherever he is today) won't mind if I release this old gem. Maybe one of you loyal editors would even like to finish it? If you use any of the files, all I ask is that you give Templar credit and link to his old site. Please bare in mind that even though the file name says "Beta" it's more like an alpha. The included level is basically meant to "look around" and test features in developement. But if you crack open the gob file, you can extract all the cogs and models. Enjoy.

... and the second gem I found is a old Star Craft RPG level I made; complete with ub3r voice acting and heavy scripting... and, I don't remember if I ever added a decent ending. Oh well, it's still pretty cool.

Jedi Knight is a bit outdated, yet here we are.

Where? Please post it in resources, and I'll make a news post. It isn't every day we get a gem like this to rip apart. Fantastic contribution. Those protoss models are amazing, and the shield effect is VERY nice, especially for its time.
