She comin' up fast.
MOAR RPG BOATS?
The Pepper's Fleet, a mercenary navy commanded by "The Pepper" from his Yellow Submarine, is mostly made up of small ironclads (or some other shiny coppery brassy lookin' metal-clad) with steam engines. However, when the Pepper visits a battle... uh... "field", he travels in this Monitor/Virginia-inspired monstrosity.
The Helter Skelter is entirely "metal" (in quotes because I still don't know what it is) and has only 9 cannons. 9, big, heavy cannons mounted on a massive turret. The craft has shockingly poor maneuverability and decreased speed due to its heavy mass and low engine count.
Powered by an internal combustion engine, with exhaust pipes that... uh.. I failed to model. Damn. Let's say that it goes out one of the back windows.
What else... what else...
This is it for Beattles-inspired sea-craft, barring the possibility I come up with another. The ship was mostly inspired by the Monitor and Virginia, as I said, but as it came together, it got a certain Pyramid Head feel to it, heightened by the stigma surrounding the song Helter Skelter. It even sounds sinister, despite being a kind of twirly slide.
The engines, now that I mention it, are not in fact attached to the body. This is totally the software's fault, and I'm hoping someone can help me with it. I try to make a bridge between the engines and the engine stock, and Wings3d freezes up. It does this with many models, though I can't tell if it's due to the number of "objects" or the number of polygons.
Anything else, anything else...
Uh, pokey spine on the front for ramming other ships... probably would be carried to battle... um... scenes... by the larger submarine city... the engine is powered alchemically...
I guess that's it.
-I got blisters on my fingers.
