and it is good. Uberslug got me to try some posing today, and I must say it was enjoyable, and not really THAT hard to do.

Yeah, large image, done in MS-Paint, but I want feedback. You can comment on the humor if you feel so inclined, but I've realized I suck at making comic jokes (I'll finish my current one tomorrow, get it up, and you'll see how bad I am at jokes). I really want feedback on my positioning/posing, and anyone who has tried it, give me tips and feedback.

Oh, and this was my first real try at posing, that I stuck with it longer than 2 minutes before I said "**** this, what am I doing it for anyway?" The one I'm working on showcases a bit more posing, so I'll demonstrate my "Abilities" better tomorrow.

Edit: Linked for size

Not funny. Last panel doesn't make sense. It seems like the comic is leading in a different direction, and there's no punchline to the dialogue... I suppose the visual humor in the last panel was supposed to fill that niche, but it doesn't go with the first 3 panels...

I'd reccomend removing the text 'Carl was having a terrible day." It's cheesy, and while I can see the tone you were trying to set with it, it doesn't work very well :/.

That said, I think the posing is pretty good, keep it up :). Just work on your formatting a bit, and make sure your humor makes sense to others. It's easy to get set on a joke that makes sense to you because you were involved with the process of creating it, and then realize once you release it that no one else really gets it. :D

Yeah, that's exactly why I said I'd prefer to keep comments centered on the posing. I realize I suck at humor, I don't need you guys to remind me of that :P

Oh, and I'll download GIMP sometime and do some better panelling/make text bubbles. MS Paint is very limiting, even when someone like me, who barely messes with image manipulation, tries to use it.

I may try and make a story from the next one though, albeit a sucky one.

And another reason why that one sucked so bad? I used the same poses for both of them in all 4 frames. Didn't move them one bit. I've got multiple stances for this guy (moves through a building) in the next one.

Ultimately, I'd kind of like to get something along the quality/humor lines of www.hlcomic.com but that's a LONG ways off, and I'm not that funny.

Alright, I made the second one. I was going to have a final panel where the "Twinkies" blew up, or the guy got shot, or something. But I couldn't get Barney to pose in a kneeling position AND hold a rifle very well. So..sorry about it kind of ending stupidly.

And yeah, I know some of the pictures are bad quality, I could have zoomed in on the g-man a LOT more than I did, but whatever. I did multiple poses this time!

Oh, and I know, don't refer to things or post acronyms when not everyone knows what they mean. But these are in a gaming community, not going ultra-public, so I thought it was OK.

And it requires that you've played Hostage Rescue in Counter Strike atleast once and rescued a hostage to understand one of the jokes.

Le comic.

The positioning is definately better than a lot I've seen around. Espescially mine.
"Jayne, this is something the Captain has to do for himself"

"N-No it's not!"

"Oh."

Gmod is really advanced now and you can position them really realistic. They are good for a first try I guess, but overall nothing great.
Think while it's still legal.
