UPDATE: SEE LAST POST


...to my new flash animation. Hobbit Holes is going to be a 3 part series. The character design is based off of South Park, but the story is based off of Lord of the Rings.

I released a teaser trailer on newgrounds last week, and I finished the introduction to the film a few seconds ago. Nothing special, but I figured I'd show it off. I'll update the thread as I continue work on the animation. Enjoy.

Smeagol's monologue at the end of the teaser is too tedious and drawn out. Otherwise, looks like it has promise except for the crappy art style -_-.

Nothing special yet. And please ditch the south park animation style, it makes me want to watch it even less.

I can't ditch the South Park animation style! Then all the NG viewers (ages 12 - 15) won't rate the movie as high.

The backgrounds should be hand-drawn, they looks superfugly right now. Also his eyes need to point at the fedex package when he opens the door :p

funny, but... a little.... slow? like when he looks out of his hobbit hole his vision is WAYYYY to slow. and like... when the eye and the wraith are talking the responses ar e too slow.

I need to tighten up some things to make it less slow, but for now here is the rest of scene 2.
