so Ive been working on my Daedalus.

Specs said to add more detail when it was up so I just finished making a rail gun to add to the hull of the ship Im going to begin on handmade greebles for it next.

Really shiny, but I like it. I think there could be some improvements to the texture though.

Yeah, why shouldn't it work in space?

The model is great, and the first and last render look awesome. Not enough light in the second one, though.

how does it stand up when its animated and displayed larger?

from those pics it looks better than the one on the show.

That looks reasonably amazing.

Also: Battlestar Galactica (new) also uses railguns on their battleships. No reason I can think of why they wouldn't work. Especially when energy weapons don't exist/aren't available.

Updates. I added alot more greebles I dont know if there visable, comm lights have been added to the tips of the spikes. Railguns have been added to the top side and anyways... and just like specs requested a better backdrop.

Very faithful to the show... in other words, it looks like a flying brick. Do a wraith ship instead, or something. Maybe one of those round Auri ones. They're awesome.

A brick ugly ship or not. I love the design of the ship. It always amazes me when I see it on TV dropping out of hyperspace. What really impressed me was in "The pegasus project" were the Odyssey flew towards atlantis Even got a nice bridge view.

PS: General Trageton Im a huge fan of your warrior class battleship even used it in a few story renders of mine Im wondering do you have a high poly high detail version?

Nope, sorry. Don't have any model beyond the XWAU version.

(apart from a light/bump-mapped version.)
