Meh, i dont see anything special about it really. I mean yea, it looks like it... butttt tahts about it. Comparison shots maybe?

Textures would help boatloads

I'm horrible at textures, so I'm gunna make my model seem better by not having them. :ninja:

It looks good, but it seriously needs textures... If nothing else, the windows need to be modeled. :\
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Looks pretty good, but you need to shift the polys around a bit. Those tons of ridges on the fins could be textured on. Also, it would be much easier to texture the windows if they had thier own geometry.

IIRC it has a cannon on the underside, which can't be seen in either of those two shots. The area between the "nose" and the wings could use some more modelled details.

Added the turret, removed the ridges, and made the windows (as a stand alone element). Whatcha think now?

PS - Jarl, don't worry bout it at all, sets up a good contrast/reference.

if you look at the reference shots, the fuselage doesn't taper down from the back into the windows. cool, though. what are you going to use the model for?

This model is for Shred to use in JKE if he so chooses. I will be using the top model with the windows and a detailed cockpit for a cameo in cutscenes. :ninja:

Now that is nice. Yes it'd be even better with textures, but big deal. It looks great in vector with the windows and other details.

Rather forgot how much I liked the design of this ship. There looks to be a bit of styling borrowed from circa 1940s attack fighters and some other bits that I can't quite place. The asymetry of the cockpit was always a nice touch... Too bad they never added those (or ANYTHING cool, for that matter) to Star Wars Galaxies, for I would have flown one exclusively.

Agreed. That's one detail flaw that is not easy on the eye.
