It has no scope...
Or trigger...

We really need to see more to judge. As of right now, it's just a block.

Well, dealing with the transition to college, I was finally able to get myself up and running again. Heres the updated (and pretty much complete) version of the SR-7.

Whatcha think?

Break the edges on the barrel-protector (where it looks like a block). And the handle doesn't look very comfortable. Maybe a fancier muzzle-break would help, too.

It looks like there's a mag in the stock like a bullpup design...so what the hell is in front of the trigger?

Definitely could use more faces to smooth it out, make it look less blocky. Amazing textures could help in that aspect as well, I guess.

Im not sure what software you're using, but if you could add a smooth modifier to it, it will smooth out the shadows.. its not going to be all faceted in game like that.

It's also good practice to make more planar polies. Even if it means adding more faces. This will hide the tri polies. I find them not appealing to the eye in this model.

You're not referring to the somewhat-curved geometry, are you? Because the trigger's on the front of that.

...which would make it the "thumb hole," unless your hand anatomy and/or shooting technique is/are different than the normal person's.

I'm not sure that's a comfortable place for that....i mean, you realize you have to put your head there to see through the scope, right? And that it might be uncomfortable, especially when you fire and it cycles?

Ummm......bolt action. Plus the scope zoom (controled by the toggle on the grip) is set up for the person who uses his right hand.

I've never had a problem shooting bolt action rifles before, but those bolts lock down, not stick straight out to the side. Although I did get a scar on my thumb from a Moisson (it's a good idea to release the grip when you slide back the bolt :o )
